The Immortals Quartet by Tamora Pierce is my current obsession. I should go look for fanfics on it, but at the moment, I'm just being in love with it. I mean, come on, how awesome is it? See:
"Do you love me or not?" she demanded.
"That is not the topic under discussion."
[...]
"We're not talking about love?" she demanded... "What are we talking of, then? Canoodling?"
"Daine! Is that what you think I want?" he demanded, outraged. "Sex?"
I love it. Completely. >.< So, yeah, that's really all I wanted to say.
And it brings my fandom-count up to ten!

Only Nine?
Nine what, you're probably asking? Well, I think that question mark looks wierd at the end of that sentence since the first part is the question and not the second part. But it's grammatically (with TWO M's) correct, so whatever. And sorry if I'm sounding wierd or odd or ood or out of it or something; I've spent all afternoon (around 4 hours, maybe even closer to 5, but it could be on the only around 3 side) reading Doctor Who parody fics. I've finally found the genre that I LOVE, no matter what the fandom is: PARODY! Or humor in general. They're hilarious! And so much fun! And they make me forget how mad I am at the latest Doctor Who episode for ending when it ends! Especially 'cause that would mean that David Tennant isn't around anymore. Wierd, Mozilla doesn't know that isn' is a word when it's followed by a T. And that doesn' followed by a T is a word. And That Wierd with a capital W is a word. And now it's not checking my typos, which isn't good. That's NEVER good. Oh, wait, it fixed itself. Nevermind.
But after that lengthily meaningless and meaninglessly long intro paragraph, there is actually a point to this post. Somewhere. Hidden under all of the rambling. I've changed my mind - I'm taking all of the tags off of my posts. No, that wasn't the point of this post, I just decided it at this very second. Plus, if that was the point to this post, why would it be titled Only Nine? Because there has to be only nine of something that I was expecting there to be more of. Otherwise, the title of this post would be absolutely pointless, like this post it turning out to be. Right.
After that unhelpful transition, we are closer to the point. I'm not sure how close to the point we actually are, because I haven't written the point yet, so I don't know for how much longer I'm going to ramble before I get to the point. Although, I might be in some sort of, like, I don't know, flux or something, like how in that Doctor Who episode Blink (dude that was the BEST!)(okay maybe not THE best, but the BEST all the same) where the Doctor wrote the right stuff on the wall because Sally Sparrow (hehehe... Sparrow...) gave him the packet for his future which would be her past. Make sense? It really doesn't unless you watch the episode. Although I would advise against doing that at night with no lights on and no one else awake in the house while trying to make as little noise as possible so your parents don't know you're awake when you're not supposed to be at two in the morning when you're going to overnight camp the next day like I did. I don't think that makes any sense and it doesn't really seem like it applies to the original topic anymore, which I can't even remember.
So, where was I? I've been rambling for so long that I've forgotten. I'm happy that I rambled, though -- I've been wanting to ramble for a LONG time now. And now I've finally gotten that chance and I'm contented. Well, sort of. Hold on, lemme change the song to my favorite two, the last ones, and then I'll FINALLY tell you the point of this post, kay?
Only nine what? Only nine fandoms. I swear, I thought I was addicted to more fandoms than that. Here they are:
1. Harry Potter
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. Lord of the Rings
4. Twilight
5. Doctor Who
6. Star Wars
7. X-Files
8. Indiana Jones
9. The Books of Pellinor
And I should add it, but I don't think it counts: The Unicorns of Balinor series. It was the first series I ever tried writing fanfics of -- before I realized what fanfics were. I essentially ripped off all the ideas from those books and tried to make it my own. It obviously didn't work, or I'd be a fourteen-year-old billionare from my brilliant story. Or I'd have more than $600 to my name. Which isn't a small sum, I'll admit. But I got it all for my last birthday. Cause I was going away to Canada. But I didn't spend any of it there. Instead, I put it in the bank. And I wanted to use it to buy an iPod Touch, but nooo, no Touch for Lucy. Right. Anyway. I just thought it was wierd that I'm only in love with 9 fandoms. So.... yeah. I think I'll put them up on my blog somewhere along the side.
IN SHORT: YOU HAVE TO READ THE WHOLE FRICKIN' RAMBLE!
