Floating...

Yeah, I'm kinda floating in dark curly fuzz... So, basically, I'm not going to be writing anything that isn't incredibly spacey for a while. Probably like, a really long time actually. Hmm... I should go send that email...

(I realize this email wasn't helpful to probably anyone. Basically, I'm really out of it and won't be writing.)

One True Love

I wrote this on the spot, trying to explain something to my friend. I totally and completely believe it's all true, if you let it be.

(OTL = One True Love)

You may not meet your OTL in your living lifetime, and you may not have even heard of your OTL in your lifetime. Your OTL might not be born yet. But your OTL is someone who you would die to save, someone you could not live without. When they die, you must die, if you're together within your life time. You may know your OTL and love them with a different sort of love, but it's never enough. (It's like imprinting[Twilight] that way.) Your OTL might be your grandchild. You might never know your OTL, but then you die and go to the "after-life" and your OTL may be waiting for you there. You may be the one to wait for your OTL. It's common to find people finding their OTLs in books -- their true OTLs, the ones they couldn't live without. It's much less common in real life, but not completely unheard of. Your OTL is the basis for the people you kid yourself into believing are your love. maybe your OTL has a specific physical feature -- most of your "loves" will have it too. Maybe their personality's the strongest point. Whatever it is, you look for it in your possible partners, and it is what draws you to them. You're looking for your OTL in every one. You'll know, when you truly find it. You won't necessarily be able to recognize your OTL at first glance, but that's what love at first sight is -- the glimse of your OTL, for the first time.

Snow Day Tomorrow!

That's right, I'm planning a snow day for tomorrow. So everyone, regardless of whether or not you live remotely near me, make sure that you wear your pajamas inside out and backwards, put an unlit candle and a purple snowflake in your window and a spoon under your pillow, and do the snow dance. (It's the completely silent one.) And then, be happy when we don't have school tomorrow.

Batman, Stories, and Homework; Fanfics, Elven Dresses, and Missing Cats; Oklahoma!, Albert Speer, and Hair

Right, so I've spent the past few days watching Batman Begins and the Dark Knight. They're both really awesome. But, because of that, I haven't been focusing so much on homework, or writing, or anything. I've just been sitting back and watching movies.
I've seen Twilight twice, once with my friend and her mom and once with my boyfriend and other friend and her boyfriend because our boyfriends are twins. They look exactly alike, except that one of them has glasses. Not for long! The other twin's getting glasses soon. At least they're getting different COLORS of glasses...

I have, though, been writing a lot recently. I've had random inspiration for little bits of Strange, and am kinda in the process of redoing the entire beginning. I mean, I start writing one thing, but then it doesn't make any sense that she'd be living with some random family in the middle of the country rather than with her mother if she is living in the country, and then it doesn't make much sense that they're friends, because they won't have gone to the Academy together because he's five years older than her, but I've decided that he's basically fallen for her by the start of the story anyway, except maybe they're just friends but they're at least not strangers to each other, because that has to come in a different story I write where they fall in love completely because that's just how these things work if you meet your One True Love. And I bet you have no idea what I'm talking about even if you have read Strange and that's the point, of course. I haven't really written many short stories I'm willing to post, though.

I have a wierd relationship with homework at the moment. I have a fairly large amount, including all of these long-term projects I should be working on and tests I should be studying for right now, but I haven't been doing any of that. And if you asked me why, I honestly couldn't say. I just sorta gave up on the whole school thing, but I'll probably go back to putting at least some sort of effort out because I can get As as long as I put up a sufficient amount of effort, and like 4562145214521453% if I devote my full attention to it, which I never do, because I stop caring at 93%, which is when it starts counting as an A instead of an A-.

I recently got back into humorous fanfics, this time LotR-central. I read an amazingly hilarious one last night, and am in the process of finding more. Spoofs are just fun, which is why I love them so much. I think I'm going to be into them for a while, because of my current LotR re-obsession.

What's this about elven dresses? You think they're really awesome, too? Wait, what? You know where I can find one? I'm actually in the process of designing one, thanks for not telling me when I needed it. But yeah, I'm designing myself an elf-ish LotR-ish Leginai-ish dress, which I HOPE will be done by New Year's. Unfortunately, I'm getting really into other things at the same time, so I don't really have that much time to work on it. Currently there are 27 days, including today, that I have left to work on it. I plan on making it light blue, like my eyes, with either a dark blue or brown sash in the center. (I'm also asking people on Yahoo Answers what they think.)

My kitty cat is missing. The cute black one with white paws and underbelly named PJ. It is sad. I miss him.

The cast rehearsals for Oklahoma!, the musical that the middle school is putting on this year, have started. This means that my boyfriend has less time. Which annoys me, especially because I have to wait until like March for stage crew for that to start. I probably have to wait until like May for the stage crew for Sweeny Todd, what my school's putting on. It's actually probably a month earlier than what I said cause that's when the actual performances are and theoretically we have to go before the performances so that we might just possibly be at least a little familiar with all the techinicalities and jargon necessary for the production.

Albert Speer was Hitler's main architect and good friend. He helped the German economy during the war, but he did so using forced labor of foreigners, which is outlawed by the Geneva Conventions. He was also the original guy who said, "What Holocaust?" For the former, I'm prosecuting him in one of the mock trials my world cultures class is working on. The latter is just proof of his character -- not that I needs it. This is the big project that I eluded to earlier which I'm not working on. Which I really, really, should be, but it's so incredibly boring and I'm just going to do it all last minute. I'll do really well on everything else this marking period cause I just don't like this project at all.

I got this really awesome hair cut kind of recently, and for some reason I'm really falling in love with it these past few days. I need to blow-dry it in the mornings just because of the way timing works out and I usually have to resort to gel to get the fuzzy stuff on the top of my head to stay down in the mornings, but it's really great. I can go without blow-drying it on a weekend. It looks good on my face and in my opinion makes me look more grown up. When I'm wearing make-up and good-looking clothes, I finally look like a teenager. That's been one of my problems with maturing, and puberty; I never really thought I looked like a teenager. But now, with this hair cut, and as long as I wear good clothes, I look amazingly like a true teenager. It's great, and it makes me feel great.

Wow, this is probably the longest of all of my journal posts. Oh well, I had to say something, compared to all of the nothing I've said in a while.
