Hiatus

Alright. I think I'm going on a bit of a hiatus from writing in general, what with my finals next week and a solar car competition for a car I haven't even built yet (technically I have, since I'm improving my car from last year, but still) that is in 3 days. Woo for procrastination!

On another note, I got some good inspiration from my Canada trip - I can't remember if I said that in my Canada! post. Either way, I'm saying it (again?) now. I am currently procrastinating from studying by reading insert-yourself PotC fanfics - my favorite in PotC land. They're really fun to read. And often hilarious, if not well-written. And that makes them worth it. So... yeah. Goodbye.

I'm Looking For A Specific Fanfic

(C&P'd from my Fanfiction profile)

On Quzilla (which I am now mad at), there was a user, SisterStrange (who then became sister.strange for some reason), who wrote these stories that I absolutely adored, included one called Hide and Seek, which was a RegulusOC romance fic, and was AMAZING. If anyone knows who I'm talking about, or the story I'm talking about, could they tell me where she is now? Quizilla's being retarded, and I'm trying to figure out if I can find Hide and Seek (along with a couple of her other stories), because I want to read them again so badly. So, if someone could help me, I would be much indebted.

Canada!!

Over this past weekend, I went to Canada as a sort-of-school-trip trip. We toured Montreal and Quebec and it was a lot of fun! So, that's what I was doing over this weekend and why I didn't write anything. I also got some ideas for some original stories out of it. And I watched like a dozen movies. Today, I'm staying home from school to catch up on sleep and work on these final review things I'm making. They're sort of like giant packets of all the information we've learned over this past year, in each of my subjects. And I promised a couple people at school that I would give them my packet thingies once I'd finished them so that they could use them to study. So, I should go work on those right now, bye!

More idiocities

I was reading an HP fanfic, and they were talking about the Black Residence on Grimmauld Place. And I was like, "But it's #4, not #12," to my computer. Brilliant, right?

I didn't find anything good in my journals, and didn't really type anything up, cause I got bored. Now I'm reading really amazing fanfics, and not eating breakfast, even though it's (now, anyway) like 1:15. PM.

I will tell you if anything interesting happens. Which I doubt it will.

Rooting through my notebooks

As the title of this post says, I am rooting through my notebooks that have anything in them, and typing all of that up. Why? Simple: I really don't want to start studying for my finals, and it'll be nice to have all of these stories typed up for when I want them that way.

If I come across anything interesting, I will put a post up here about it.

Also, I'm going to have to devote a lot of this weekend to studying for finals, or preparing for studying for finals more specifically, because I have finals in two weeks and am going away next weekend. I have a lot of work to do.

I am an idiot

Ok, so how was I an idiot most recently?

Well, it rained today. And my bus stop is three longish blocks away, at the bottom of the hill that my house is basically on top of. So, I walked home through GIANT streams of water and got the bottom of my jeans all wet. Then, when I got home, I attempted to blow dry the bottoms of my pants with my hairdryer. It didn't work too well. But, since my socks were soaked through, I decided to change into nice, warm, fuzzy socks. Then, my house phone decided to ring. So I was running to get it, and slipped, and crashed into the kinda sharp corner of my banister with my shin. I managed to cut up my shin a little. It doesn't hurt too much now, but it STUNG LIKE HELL then. I made a chant out of my chanting OW! so much. Then my dad came up from the basement and was like, what's wrong? and I was like, oh nothing, I was just an idiot, and he was like, oh, and left.

In short: I ran into my banister with my shin and it hurt A LOT.

Update!

Well... I wrote another two pages of Strange. Technically, it's only 1.5 pages more, but whatever, same dif, right? Thought so.

I don't think there's anything really interesting that I can tell you... I'm going to a Women in Science thing at my mom's school tomorrow (she's a 1st grade teacher), which will be fun. Especially since I get to miss a day of school for it. There's only some 23 days left in school for me (we get out Friday the 13th, ooh, scary!), five of which are filled by finals, one of which I'm missing tomorrow, one of which I'm missing when I'm coming back from Canada, one of which is the day we go to Dorney Park (I think), and the last of which is graduation day. So, I essentially only have fourteen more days of real school, and that's COUNTING the last week of school when we don't really do anything. So, in all actuality, I have eleven more days of school school, five days of exams, and a week of end-of-the-year goodness. Sweet!

STRANGE UPDATE

Guess what? Since I got Strange to a suitable breaking point, I put it on fictionpress.com. So, why don't you go read it? It's absolutely amazing and I love it, although it might have a few typos (clamed instead of calmed - something I actually did by mistake). But tell me what you think! It's really amazing and I absolutely love it and stuff. I can't wait until people read it and give me their reactions. Chapter One is very long though - it's nine and a half pages long - so I won't expect any reviews right away. However much I'm dying for them. ;)

In short: Strange is readable on my account on fictionpress.net.

A Collaboration Story

Right. I thought I should tell you what I'm working on right now, since I'm not working on LTTLR and only sort of working on NADCT.

I'm writing a collaboration story with my friend Steph (aka Steot and StephWolfCaller and many other things), that is a Tom Riddle love story. I absolutely love our main character, Kaida. She is so much fun to write. At least, I think so. I'm working on writing all of the like back-story stuff, like things from when they were at Hogwarts.
It is SOO much fun.
I'm also (sort of) working on NADCT. Because I recently re-found it on my computer, and, in the process of bringing old documents from the going-to-die-any-day-now computer to the new-and-super-fast-with-a-touch-screen computer, I unearthed it, and some other fanfics. I also found all these old original stories I haven't worked on in forever, but none of them are enough fun to work on at the moment. Maybe I will some other time, when I've got more inspiration.

In short: I'm writing a collaboration story with my friend.

LTTLR UPDATE

I decided that LTTLR wasn't really getting anywhere. In fact, it was getting rather boring. I think that's because the best Lucy Turnenbaumerumm fics are fics that are of A)movies and B)movies that I've seen enough times to steal lines from. So, obviously, considering the fact that I've only seen the Lord of the Rings Trilogy about, I don't know, three times or something, I definitely haven't seen them enough times to make a sufficient Lucy Turnenbaumerumm fic of them. Maybe, once I've seen them fifty million times, like I've seen Curse of the Black Pearl and Dead Man's Chest (I'm working on At World's End), I'll be able to do a good Lucy Turnenbaumerumm of them.

In short: I got bored of LTTLR and am stopping writing it. I may finish it some other time. Don't worry, though - I haven't deleted it off of my computer.

well, hello, i guess

Oh, hi. you're here to read my blog? Well, obviously you are, or you wouldn't be here.

Well, this is my blog. You couldn't have guessed that, could you?
The reason I made it is so that I wouldn't have to update my fanfiction.net account and my fictionpress.com account every time something new happened, to make live SOOO much easier on me.

Well, other than that, I don't really have anything to say for myself. I probably won't, except to tell you of what stories I'm working on and that sort of stuff.

Don't worry, I'm keeping the other sections of my profiles the same, and keeping my fandom news up-to-date on my fanfiction account. I'm just putting everything that would otherwise go under the "news" category here. And, every time I update the fandom news on my fanfiction account - or add things to the story news on my fictionpress account - I'll put a post here detailing what I did and why I did it.

Like I'm going to do now for my removal of LTTLR.
