That's right, everyone - I'm back from overnight camp! I start horseback riding day camp tomorrow - Monday - but, since it's a day camp, I'll still be around at night and on weekends. It's basically like school, except I'll be much more exhausted afterwords. But, being at camp made me want to write. I am currently in the process of writing this really, really, really, REALLY odd fanfic, that is basically a combination of all of my favorite fandoms. Plus, it's camp. It's going to be amazing, once I ever write it. More than the introductions, I mean.
It's a cross between Harry Potter, Pirates, X-Files, Star Wars, possibly Twilight, and Doctor Who. In that order - I haven't really decided if I'm going to do Twilight or not, so I can't keep writing because I have to keep it in a certain order. Well, Doctor Who has to be last, regardless. I have a brilliant plan for Doctor Who. And I need to revise my X-Files part. Well, actually don't. I think I'll be fine if I don't. Idk. I have to decide exactly how I'm fitting in there - I have the beginning of an idea, but nothing more than that. I don't know the specifics, as I know the multiple specifics in Harry Potter, the singular specifics in Pirates, Star Wars, and Doctor Who. That's the reason I don't know if I'm going to do Twilight - I've got no idea how I'd fit in there. So... yeah. I think I might just skip Twilight and right the Doctor Who part - I love my idea for that.
After all, who wouldn't want to be able to talk their way out of anything??

The Last Thing Right Now: Doctor Who (& a convenient explanation of the way I watch TV)
So, today, I wake up and decide that, since my brother is using the computer, I'm going to go upstairs and watch TV for what ends up being practically the entire day - until 5 pm. I'm flipping through the channels, hitting specific ones: History, Discovery, Weather, AMC (if I'm remembering it correctly, that's where I caught Terminator 2 one night, right after Dracula 2000), TNT, TLC, Sci Fi, and finally Spike. I'm going to give you a synopsis of what shows I watch on these different channels, just so can make some sense of me. Note that when I say watch, I don't mean religiously; me watching a show means that I'll tune into it and actually pay attention when it's on, rather than just using the TV as essentially a white noise box.
The History Channel has showed some interesting shows in the past, but I usually catch it at bad times. Discovery Channel I got hooked on because of Mythbusters - the shows from there that I watch have expanded to include A Haunting, that Urban Legends show, Dirty Jobs, How It's Made, and It Takes A Thief. I can't stand Cash Cab or that crab show. Ah, hmm, Deadliest Catch, yeah, that's it. One the Weather Channel, I watch Storm Stories and It Could Happen Tomorrow, which usually come on around 3. On AMC, I watch movies, such as Dracula 2000 and Terminator 2, which I caught in one night, one after the other, on a night when it just so happened that I was looking for blood. I only caught like the first half of Terminator 2, though, which annoyed me. TNT, I think, is where I caught this really amazing show that I can't remember the name of about some girl with a bar code on the back of her neck. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Right. I also watch Charmed on TNT kind of regularly now. On TLC, I watch a lot of shows: What Not To Wear, John and Kate + 8, 10 Years Younger, Take Home Chef, Trading Spaces, and Flip That House. Does anyone else think that new show, the Singing Office or whatever, looks kind of interesting? Ah, right, back on track. On Sci Fi, I've watched many different things. It's my favorite thing to watch when no other shows that I particularly like (such as one of the ones I've mentioned above) are on, because it's always interesting. I believe that I caught Star Wars on there a while ago - or no, wait, I think it was Sci Fi that got me into Lord of the Rings. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever, so I'm going to assume it was some other channel that got me into Lord of the Rings, that I unfortunately can't remember at the moment. On Sci Fi, I've watched the X Files - which my dad, who owns about two dozen episodes from the first and second seasons on tape, got me into - and, when I recently discovered that the Sci Fi channel was its home, Ghost Hunters, which I had watched On Demand at a friend's house. I've also seen bits of Star trek (I think), Stargate Atlantis, and before today, Doctor Who. I'll be coming back to Doctor Who in a bit, after I say my little bit about Spike, the channel I rarely watch. I only really watch Spike for CSI, which is on from like 5 to like 7 (I might be wrong about those times) every afternoon. My friend, the same one who showed me Ghost Hunters, got me hooked on CSI and all its subdivisions. (I honestly couldn't tell you what my favorite was, since they all sort of blend together and not make sense any more.) It's become a bad habit of mine to go over to her house regularly to watch CSI (or some subdivision) and eat ice cream. And that concludes my TV watching explanation.

I watched until the commercial, became hooked, and then realized it was a marathon. So, I spent at least four hours - probably more like four and a half, if not more - watching Doctor Who. And I only proceeded to become more and more and more confused. But here's some evidence as to how emotional I always get watching movies/TV/whatever: I was practically sobbing at the end of the last one I saw today, which is when Rose is stuck in that parallel dimension forever (now I have a theory about this, but I might be wrong, since I'm not sure about the logistics of all of this), and the Doctor is talking to her through that almost-a-hologram thingie. I doubt that makes any sense, unless you know exactly what I'm talking about. And I'll tell you my theory which might not work because I'm not sure of the logistics, but only if you ask.
So yes. Even though I have practically no idea what the premise of the show is, I'm hooked. And I'm curious as to whether or not more episodes will be showing tomorrow. Because if they are, my day is booked.

The News You Probably Won't Care About But I'm Telling You Anyway

1)My dad is away from today, Thursday, until Saturday night. This doesn't mean much, except for the fact that I have a little bit of a longer leash on what I'm allowed to do, since it's usually my dad who comes out to the hall and yells (not really, since my brother's right next door sleeping) at me to get off of the computer. So, basically, I'm going to have extra time on the computer during the next few days, to get ready for my lack of computer for 6 days.
2)My hair isn't incredibly short anymore. This doesn't really mean much either, except that I actually like the length it is now, since it isn't super short any more. It's almost to my shoulders. I really want to grow it out to my shoulders at least. This may or may not have something to do with my Harry Potter insert-yourself fic. I'll try calling it that, since that's what it is, instead of an almost Lucy Turnenbaumerumm fic, since that's only almost what it is.
In short: don't bother reading this post unless you're some creepy stalker and you care about wierd things like that. So, don't bother reading this post.

Overnight camp
Fortunately for me, I go away for a week of overnight camp this coming week. I leave Sunday. I had a rather odd dream about it last night - actually really this morning, like actually this morning, because it was right before I woke up, and plus, I went to bed at like 1, which I've been doing repeatedly for the last week (not good) - about camp. I can't remember it, but I know it was wierd, and friends from school were there. Whatever.
Unfortunately for you guys - not that I know that 'you guys' is actually talking to anyone, since I haven't gotten a single comment on any one of my blog posts, so I can't be sure there's actually anyone reading this thing - that means that I will not have access to a computer from Sunday 6/22 to approximately Friday 6/27 (I may or may not be able to get online on Friday when I come back from camp, I don't know yet). Which doesn't really mean much, except that I won't be able to put up any stories during that time, even if I think of a brilliant title for NADCT afterwards, and I won't be able to respond to any reviews or PMs, which I plan to get seeing as I'm going to put up What-Ifs real soon, with a warning that it tells stuff from NADCT afterwards, but not really all too much.
Fortunately for you people, however, I will probably return with at least one story idea, or starter, or something. Did you know, the original ORIGINAL NADCT (version 1, can you believe that?) comes from this very same camp. Admittedly, that NADCT was rather retarded, and I was bunking with a friend, who I haven't actually talked to in two years, who was sort of ignoring me, because she had some other friend. On the other hand, this year, I am a lot less shy than I was two years ago and I am not bunking with that friend of mine this summer, so I should have a lot more fun at camp this summer. Unfortunately for you guys, that means I probably won't have as much time to write, because I'll be exhausted from camp, and I won't have as much time doing nothing (I've looked at the schedule, and unless I mis-read it, I have less time for free time and more for my elective this year as Varsity, not that that really matters) because I'll have friends to hang with in my free time. That doesn't mean I won't have free time, however, and of course there will be that part of me wishing that the original NADCT could come true, minus the whole I-hate-Sirius thing, the whole my-friend-is-a-werewolf thing, the whole I-can't-write-romance-that's-not-sucky feel that I get when I reread my story, and the whole my-name-is-Lexi thing, since it's not, it's Lucy. Other than that, I can live with the pranking-the-whole-camp-using-Muggle-safe-tricks bit, the Sirius-getting-bored-at-the-Potters'-house-since-this-is-totally-the-

An Almost Lucy Turnenbaumerumm
A little less than two weeks ago, right before I'd even gotten the idea for NADCT afterward - literally 3 days before I started typing NADCT afterward up - I started writing this story. It is, in essence, an HP Lucy Turnenbaumerumm fic, except for the fact that a) my name isn't Lucy in the story, nor is my surname Turnenbaumerumm and b) Selene isn't a part of this story. Instead, I get transported back in time to a parallel universe via some unknown magic. Interestingly enough, this relates to my previous post, What-Ifs.
Okay, so you're wondering how a sequel to NADCT afterward can affect a Lucy Turnenbaumerumm fic that isn't? It's simple, really. I go back in time and to a parallel universe; into Harry Potter land. Once I'm there, I need an identity, right? And who's going to take me siriusly - umm, seriously - if my surname is Turnenbaumerumm and I'm a Muggle-born who somehow knows WAY too much about magic and magical devices and such? I mean, I could lie, or fake it, but I'm so horrible at that that I won't even bother. Instead, I have a plan. And what could that plan be? Why, fudge a few details, leave an OC who died alive - I shouldn't have told you that, I should not have told you that - with a daughter who never existed, and use details I made up for "What-Ifs" to create the perfect, fail-safe me, of course! Ahem, Marie. Yes, that is her name. And you can laugh at it all you want! (By the way, I realize it's not fitting in the Black family tradition of naming children after stars and such, but that's because it was Julia who named her, and not her father, him being dead and all. Or would have, had she lived. I'm just giving away half of NADCT afterward here, aren't I?) I think Maria Harlan is a good name. Even if it is (almost) Maria (Harlan) Black. But since her father is, well, dead, that doesn't work, now does it? So, where was I? Ah right. NADCT afterwards
First of all: I'm finished this story that comes after NADCT. Hence it the document on my computer being saved as NADCT afterwards. Unfortunately, I don't have a title for it, so you guys can't see it, unless you PM me and ask for it, in which case I will surely give it to you. I absolutely love it. I had a post up here about finishing it in the past, but I took it down, because I thought I'd do everything at once and be organized.

The Last Thing Right Now: Doctor Who (& a convenient explanation of the way I watch TV):I have become hooked on Doctor Who. This giant post really is that simple - ignoring the long-winded explanation of my wierd TV-watching habits, of course.
Now, I started typing it and only got to the sixth item when I realized that this post would be MUCH too long if I put everything up all at once. Instead, I'll just let you read the posts above, or if you're too lazy, all of the 'in short:'s from them, which I will c&p here once I've written them, in order.
IN SHORT:
NADCT afterwards: I've finished a short story that I'm really incredibly proud of which doesn't have a title.
What-Ifs: I've already written a sequel to NADCT afterwards, which has a title, "What-Ifs", and will be readable soon. Also, it's unlikely that I will ever finish the original NADCT.

Indiana Jones and a kitty
OMG OMG OMG!!! I went and saw Indiana Jones 4 on Sunday! It was SOOO amazing! I can't believe I haven't talked about it before now. That's probably because of my new kitty! He's mostly black with a little white on the bottom and white paws and is SOOO cute! He's three months old and his name is PJ which is short for Peter James. I thought of the the James part. Guess why? Oh, yeah, right, Indiana Jones. I absolutely ADORED it! It was so amazing. I actually suspected it was what's-her-face from the first movie when Mutt was like, my mom, Mary, told me to find you (when I first recognized Shia LaBeof, I was like, what's he doing in an Indiana Jones movie? and then I'm like, OMG, he's totally like Henry Jones III! And then I was all like AHHHH! through the rest of the movie) and I totally called that he was Henry Jones III. One of my favorite parts was when what's-her-face and Indiana were about to kiss and Mutt popped up out of nowhere and was like, here, hold this! it was so amusing.
Yeah. so, Indiana Jones 4 did what it was probably attempting to do: it got me into Indiana Jones all over again.

Okay, I never thought I'd say it, but I am honestly reading a SSHG fanfic. If you don't know what that is, it refers to the ship of the story. If that doesn't help you, I mean relationship. If you didn't know that, I don't know how you can be reading fanfics. If you still have no idea what a SSHG fanfic is, or how that relates to the 'ship,' I mean Severus Snape/Hermione Granger fic. And I promise you, I have no idea why I started reading it, and I doubt I ever will. So far, though, it hasn't been too bad. I mean, it's not canon, so I'm going to start getting annoyed at it eventually, but it's actually rather amusing so far.

7 Different People
It just goes to show you what you don't remember from the 7th Harry Potter book when you've only read it twice and a half. Yes, of course twice and a half is an amount.
I didn't realize that the 7 Horcruxes were destroyed by 7 different people - chart thingie stolen from the 'Profile of Lord Voldemort' page of the Harry Potter Lexicon (HPL) :
Isn't that interesting? Does anyone else think that JKR had to have done that on purpose? Or am I the only one who thinks that? ??

Alternate NADCT?
*listening to We the Kings rather loudly in my headphones, banging along on the desk, and annoying my parents to no end -- but I can't hear them complain! ;)*
Right, so back on subject -- sort of. Yesterday, at like 11:30 at night, my parents told me I had to go to bed, but I got a brilliant story idea. So, of course, I plugged my phone into its charger and stayed up until about 1:30 am writing. And writing and writing. And I wrote this amazing story, that comes after NADCT -- literally, i titled the document NADCT afterward. And I love it, and my friend thinks it's really amazing, and I'm going to keep writing it. And there's a chance that it will replace NADCT. (Version 2 (Not 1.5, the edit of 1(duh)).)

An Interesting Idea I Thought I'd Share With You
Okay, so I'm writing NADCT, and I need to figure out Julia's last name. I employ a technique I've used many times before, but I thought that this time I'd share it with you guys. Not that there actually are any of you - so who cares? But anyway, here's what I do. First, I start with a letter or two. In Julia's case, I decided that I wanted her last name to start with a H. So, I hit enter, starting a new paragraph. I type H, and then I type out some random string of sounds that might become a surname. Now, this doesn't have to be anything like what you end up with, it just has to be a starting point. For example, I started with Harit. Then, I right clicked on it, and looked at spelling suggestions, because Harit is not a word. The suggestions that Word gave me were Hart, Habit, Harriet, Herat, and Hair. I didn't like any of those. So, I tried keeping Harit phonetically, but with a different spelling: Harret. The new suggestions were Harriet, Hare, Hared, Hares, and Garret. (See what what random things you can get out of spell check? Where did Garret come from?) I didn't like any of those, either. So, I had to change my word completely. This time, I tried Harlen. (Which Firefox seems to think is a word, even though it doesn't think Herat is. Not that I completely trust my Word 2007, cause I've both accidentally and purposefully added some wierd things to the dictionary.) Word gave me Harlan, Harlem, Harley, Harden, and Haarlem (which Firefox also believes is not a word). I chose Harlan, because it was sort of like Harlan, but it was already a word. And, I looked it up, and supposedly Harlan is some dude's surname. (Seriously, type it into Google and hit 'definition.' You get a huge biography (at least I think that's what it is, I was too lazy to actually read it) of some dude with the surname Harlan.
That is my way of getting surnames when I'm on a computer and I just can't think of one.
Hopefully, I'll actually use it where I'm writing now. That would be annoying if I somehow managed to skirt around it after I spent like three minutes figuring it out and then like seven typing this whole blah up.

A Fanfic Endeavor
You have to be wondering what this endeavor is and what makes it an endeavor. I mean, normal writing projects are not labeled endeavors, not even by me. And trust me, it is an endeavor.
I plan to write a Lucy Turnenbaumerumm of the Harry Potter books. Being books, they are going to be harder than movies, since there will actually be time in between them. Also, to make it even trickier on myself, I plan on creating my two original characters I've used in fanfics before - Rose and Lucia. Rose is a Weasley-Potter (she's technically a Potter but (in LTNO anyway) she thought she was a Weasley) and Lucia is a Malfoy, and they are both my OCs that I created for the two sides. They are going to be very alike, and in fact, they are both going to be the Lucy Turnenbaumerumm we all know and love, except that they look different and they obviously have different loyalties. In fact, I'm planning a fun scene where Rose pulls Lucia aside and is like, Look, I know that somewhere in there you're Lucy, and I know that somewhere in here I'm Lucy, so please, at least stop being an asshole to me. And Lucia will ignore her, but see the truth in her words and be the beginning of the not-so-happy-will-Voldemort-ness in the Malfoy family.
So, which should I start with??
